Honda: day five

Today I…

…registered to vote! Woo. 

…spent three hours baking cupcakes for a family friend with cancer. 

…managed not to strangle my mother or burst into tears when she was a giant bitch during dinner preparations.

…made a totally delicious taco dinner and unselfconsciously took compliments on it. 

…didn’t really spend much time out of the house. It’s hard to do confidence-boosting stuff when the only people I’m around are members of my family. But! Tomorrow, I’m going into town to try to interview a restaurant owner for a paper. That’s a thing.
