Kensington: Day Seven and Eight

Today (2/5) I… 

… Went over to a friends house for a super bowl thing. Which is big for me. I don’t like being in other people houses, it feels like too much of a power unbalance and I always feel awkward. But I went anyway and it wasn’t as bad as I thought. 

… Wore black skinny jeans with my read peep-toe heels (when I say heels, I mean they’re 1 1/2 wedges) and my bright red lipstick and I felt awesome and vintage. 

Today (2/6) I… 

… Wore the red heels again and received several compliments on them. Compliments that I took with a simple thank you and a smile. Which sort of felt like I was going to fall into pieces because I just don’t know how to handle approving of me and being nice to me. I can handle someone being an ass, I’ll just be rude back. But its harder to let people in and just talk to them.
